The Green Santa
The Green Santa program has been developed to promote environmental concerns over climate change and to urge people to consider the environment when purchasing Christmas gifts.
Santa's move to a green suit, which is internationally recognised as red, is a symbol of the need to take world wide action.
The formation of the site also coincides with the development of the Green Christmas at Federation Square Melbourne by the Gould Group, Australia's oldest environmental education organisation which has a 98 year old history in providing environmental education to millions of Australian children.
